Meet Herman.
Herman is a Chartered Professional Accountant and principal at Plug CPA. His experience spans small-business bookkeeping, a controller role, and public accounting.
A career built around the books.
Herman earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in accounting from Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business. He began his career at an Ottawa-area bookkeeping and accounting firm, working with small businesses.
After earning his CPA designation in 2014, Herman spent four months travelling through Southeast Asia. He later worked as a controller for a retail and e-commerce company before moving into public accounting.
Outside work, he enjoys golf, hiking, snowboarding, and paddleboarding.
